The Concept car

The concept for this car started with the need for a small 2-seater sports roadster, which had good economy and was reasonably priced. This brief has been fulfilled with the introduction of the smart roadster. The roadster will be very sleek and low very much like the Lotus Elise and yet be extremely economical and reasonably priced and will weigh about the same as a normal smart city-coupe this combination of low, sleek and economical should be very appealing to many people looking for a reasonable priced sports car with performance to match its looks. I believe that people may choose the roadster over the Lotus Elise as it will have a very reasonable sized boot, which will make this car a great grand touring car especially with its 6 speed sequential gearbox with automatic if you want driving to be even easier.
